Phillip L. Purcell, O.D.
Dr. Phillip Purcell is the son of Lynn R. Purcell. He grew up in Tremonton, and is a graduate of Bear River High School prior to graduation from the University of Utah with a Medical Biology Degree. He attended and graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2010.
Dr. Purcell has served in capacities that benefit the profession of optometry, the community and his church. He is currently an Officer in the United States Air Force Reserve, stationed at Hill AFB in Utah where he serves his country and has serve multiple humanitarian missions sponsored by the Air Force. Dr. Purcell was also awarded the Young Optometrist of the Year award from the Utah Optometric Association in 2012 and continues membership with them and the American Optometric Association Dr. Purcell's interests include specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision, and retinal disease. He also enjoys computers, board games, and frisbee golf. He is currently the father of two girls and one boy and loves spending time with them and his wife. |
